Shareen is currently owner/editor of Habibi. She is one of the most popular teachers in workshops world wide; she has studied extensively in Egypt taking research of this art form to its sources. She also judges in the Belly Dancer of the Universe Competition in Long Beach, CA. Again I have been extremely fortunate to have had Shareen as my regular teacher when she taught at Cuesta College in 1982 and again in 1986 and 1987 when she taught advanced technique and choreography in Judeen's studio in Santa Ynez, CA.
