Ysmela was my very first belly dance teacher in Bellingham, WA back in 1975. At the time she was director of the Bou-Sada dance/music troupe. Bou-Sada toured all over Washington and Oregon during the late 70's and early 80's. Ysmela inspired me back then and when I moved to California would still give me encouragement during our many phone calls.
